The Children’s Academy Group of Schools was founded as a small school in a five-room rented premises with a handful of students by our Founder Principal, Late Shri V.V. Bhat in 1970. Today, it has grown into three state-of-the-art schools catering to over 8000 students with over 450 qualified and dedicated teachers.

What is the required age for admissions for nursery?
For admission to the Nursery class the child should complete 3 years as on 30 September of the respective academic year
Can we visit the school campus before the admission?
Parents can meet the admission counselor at the Thane Campus admission office to learn more about the school. School visits will start in the first week of December when parents can visit the demo classroom.

Which board is the school affiliated to? What curriculum does the school follow?
Children’s Academy Thane is a Proposed ICSE Board from Preschool (Nursery) to Grade X. At Children’s Academy we endeavor to provide a progressive learning environment coupled with holistic development to our students. Our efforts aren’t to just guide the students through the ICSE academic curriculum, but to make them future-ready and capable of facing all challenges that modern life can throw at them.
How different is the ICSE board from CBSE and state board?
Each state usually has its own Board like Maharashtra has its Maharashtra State Board and schools in Maharashtra can only be affiliated with this Board. ICSE and CBSE are central Boards where affiliation is granted to schools all over the country. Basically, parents who have transferable jobs prefer Central Boards like ICSE and CBSE, though it is not a norm.
All Boards are considered equivalent and admissions to Universities are not affected by the Board from which the student has passed.
What curriculum does the school follow?

Do you have a teacher's training programme in your school?
- Yes, we have an internal training programme for teacher
- Teachers also undergo subject related training as per the requirement of the board.
- The newly appointed teachers are groomed by the senior teachers to maintain quality teaching standards.
Does the school have a counseling cell?
Yes, the school has an in-house counselor who interacts with the students on a regular basis.
Do you have a bus service?
The school runs a bus service that covers the nearby locality of the school.
What are the safety policies and regulations followed by the school?
The School at all times gives first priority to the safety, health and hygiene of the students and ensures a system of emergency preparedness.
- CCTV cameras are installed to keep a check & cover the entire premises
- All the buses have 3 CCTVs inside, attendance is taken of children twice, to and fro everyday
- Emergency Evacuation drills / Fire drills are conducted at a regular interval
- The full fledged trained audit team – led by the TRUSTEES themselves – look in the upkeep of each buildings and are responsible for periodic inspections of fire safety equipment
